Lindsay VanHulle is a newly appointed Deputy Editor. Prior to this role, she was a reporter covering General Motors for Automotive News. She joined the publication in 2019 as a reporter covering auto retail and dealership technology, where she wrote about the accelerated shift toward online vehicle sales during the pandemic. In November 2022 she moved into her current role covering GM. Before joining Automotive News, Ms. VanHulle worked as a reporter covering business, politics, public policy and K-12 education in Michigan for the nonprofit Bridge Michigan, Crain's Detroit Business, the Lansing State Journal, and the Traverse City Record-Eagle. Ms. VanHulle received a bachelor's degree in journalism from Michigan State University.
